My Philosophy

A background in sports, a passion for health and wellness, and a desire to serve and connect with others led me to a career as a physical therapist. I believe that every individual is unique, and my goal is to support each person in reaching their specific goals, whether that's overcoming an injury, improving mobility, or enhancing their quality of life.

To achieve this, I prioritize listening and seeking to fully understand each person's situation. This allows me to craft personalized treatment plans that address both physical needs and personal aspirations. I am committed to creating an environment of trust and open communication, where people feel empowered and supported every step of the way.

By combining my expertise with a genuine care for others, I strive to guide my patients on their journey to recovery and improved well-being so they can reclaim the activities and passions that matter most to them.

My Background

I grew up in Marion, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa, where I received a B.A. in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During my time at the university, I served in the Army National Guard as a Combat Medic, ROTC Cadet, and Medical Service Officer. I also met my wife, Elizabeth, at the University of Iowa and in my free time I love spending time with her and our beagle, Oliver. I also enjoy golf, playing the guitar, exercising, and keeping active with outdoor hobbies.
