My Philosophy

Physical therapy should be patient-centered. I strive to build relationships with my patients and empower them to have a say in decisions for their treatment. I do my best to educate my patients on the cause of their symptoms, how we plan on helping them improve, and the “why” for each chosen treatment. Beyond this, my sessions are focused on not only reducing a patient’s current symptoms, but also preventing future injury and promoting continued success after physical therapy. I strive to be a well-rounded physical therapist, but have a special interest in orthopedic and sports physical therapy.

My Background

I am originally from northeast South Dakota and received my undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University. I graduated in 2020 with my B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of South Dakota. I am an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association. Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying active, cooking/trying new restaurants, and playing or watching almost any sport I can find.
