My Philosophy

I believe that patient care should be about the whole person. They may be coming in with shoulder pain, but they really just need someone to let them feel heard and seen as a person. Building connections with our patients is such an important part of the care we provide. I want to help patients get back to the things they enjoy in life, because I understand what it feels like to be stuck on the sidelines due to injury.

As I continue to advance in my career as a PTA, I am looking forward to furthering my education with CEUs and trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible. I enjoy seeing a wide variety of cases & diagnoses, but the sports-related injuries and getting people back to sports has a special place in my heart.

My Background

I graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a Physical Therapist Assistant AAS Degree in 2024. Prior to that I received a BS from MMU in Biology and Outdoor Conservation, then worked as a work comp claims adjuster for several years. I also have a passion for nutrition and have a Precision Nutrition L1 Certification.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband & our pets, reading, hanging out with friends and family, playing soccer, working out, and doing various outdoor activities.
